Hudson’s Falconcrag R’manjii at Glencathra, masculine, powerful male, physically very well developed for his young age & lots to like about him. Very typical head with good width of skull, well shaped ears, attractive, dreaming, somewhat nostalgic expression. Strong neck. Typical moderate, but balanced angulation both ends. Excellent feet. At times he moved very well indeed with excellent balance & suppleness, but at other times tended to be a bit uncomfortable & then cringed quite a bit. Needs to gain some more self-confidence, but not difficult to go over.

Lewis’ Dar Khan Arabian Star D’al Mahdi, short coupled brindle dog of attractive proportions, but I prefer some more substance for a male. Refined head, eyes could be darker, typical ears. Strong neck. Rather short in brisket, creating a somewhat exaggerated underline. Very moderate amount of bone. Falling away more than ideal over the croup, limiting his stride, but pleasing coming & going. Excellent temperament.

Marcori’s Intissar’s Latar, instantly attractive dog with excellent overall quality, even if he covers too much ground standing. Attractive head & eye, ears not his fortune. Excelled in topline & underline. Overly long hindquarters with excessive angulation for the breed. Unfortunately not accessible enough in temperament to overcome the winner of the class.

Davies’ Falconcrag Sahsheer, very classical fawn bitch of excellent type & quality & ideal proportions, very well developed for her young age, combining substance with elegance. Feminine quality head with highly typical expression. Excellent ears. Long neck. Correctly moderately angulated both ends making a balanced outline. Typical underline. Excellent coat & colour. Superb temperament. Both the dog & the handler needs more practice, but at times she moved very well with excellent carriage & style. Easily the star of the day & a Sloughi that would do well in any competition, she won BOB rather comfortably

Clark’s Falconcrag Daiouni of Thiefside, rather refined sand coloured bitch with a very pleasing expression. Very feminine head, could do with some more strength, rather rose-shaped ears not her fortune. Rather too upright in front. Too short in brisket & exaggerated in underline, but very pleasing topline. Excellent colour. Used her legs reasonably well from the side, but could do with some more carriage & needs to settle in front;

Riley’s Falconcrag Chayse, type wise not dissimilar to 2 in & many of the same comments apply, but sounder in movement. Unfortunately carrying far too much weight, making her far too round & lacked firmness & dryness of outline.

Harris’ Moulay El Medhi Al Tisha of Falconite, typy, well proportioned brindle bitch. Refined, feminine head, I would prefer some more width of skull. Attractive expression, excellent ears. Strong neck, moderate, but balanced angulation both ends. Deep chest. Good feet. Unfortunately falling away too much over the croup, limiting her strides.

Hudson’s Courthill Choula at Glencathra, 8 years old bitch, big, strong & powerful, scoring in soundness, but too heavy & not nearly dry & angular enough in her outline & covering too much ground on the stack. Very pleasing, typical expression. Strong neck. Rather wooly in coat on the day. Sound mover, but would like her to show more of the typical light action of the breed.
